5.0 out of 5 stars The best Pre-War Aston Book, May 28, 2009

This review is from: Aston Martin 1913-1947 (Hardcover)
David Brown's ownership of Lagonda and later, Aston Martin is well documented in many books. But, what if you are interested in the Pre-War designs? Though hard to find (like many of the best automotive books) this book is an extensive and readable survey of the early Aston.
1 1/2 Liter, 2 Liter, Model B, International and even a short chapter on the Atom are covered here in text and photos. The book does have several indices: LeMans entries (with chassis numbers) and total production by year but not a complete chassis list which I suppose is this book's sole shortcoming.
