5.0 out of 5 stars I love this book
This is a detailed and authorative history of Aston Martin racing..... a must have for any Aston Martin enthusiast. A great book well worth the modest price.

2.0 out of 5 stars GOOD FOR A HISTORY BUFF....NOT SO GOOD FOR A FAN
THE MAIN REASON I BOUGHT THIS BOOK WAS TO SEE (hopefully) SOME GOOD UP CLOSE COLOR PHOTOS- ESPECIALLY OF THIS MODERN ASTON TEAM THAT IS DOING WELL. WHAT I GOT WAS 300+ PAGES OF HISTORY AND MAYBE 12-16 PAGES OF COLOR PICS....AND MOSTLY OF OLDER ASTONS. THE REST <<<ALL>>> BLACK AND WHITE AND THOROUGHLY UNENJOYABLE. IF YOU WANT TO LEARN ALL THERE IS TO KNOW ABOUT...

Great book and fantastic motor car!
I grew up in the back of an Aston Martin (58 MkII Notchback & then a 59 MKIII, dads company cars!) then later in a 1932 1.5L Short Chassis LeMans! My mum & Dad both worked for Aston in Feltam in the 1950s, mum joined in 49 and was John Wyers secretary. Dad was in the race shop... and to see the Astons come back again and WIN was great! I sent my resume but they never called. :(

IF YOU WANT TO LEARN ALL THERE IS TO KNOW ABOUT ASTON HISTORY- PONY UP THE $40. IF YOU WANTED GOOD HIGH QUALITY PICS AND TO LEARN ABOUT A MODERN ASTON , BECAUSE MAYBE YOU MIGHT WANNA BUY ONE LIKE ME- THIS AINT THE SOURCE. IF YOU'VE SEEN THE " VICTORY BY DESIGN " DVD ON ASTON- THIS BOOK MIRRORS IT- 47 MINUTES OF HISTORY AND THE LAST 1-2 MINUTES OF ALAIN DE CADENET WALKING UP TO AND DRIVING AWAY IN A NEW CONVERTIBLE. I CAN'T KNOCK THE BOOKS' INFO SIDE AS I HAVEN'T READ ONE WORD- BUT THIS IS NOT A BOOK TO HELP YOU OGLE THE CARS VIA PICS.
