Give candles a grape arbor of their own with this Astonica lantern. Crafted from cast iron, the lantern is incredibly sturdy, with a spring-loaded door and a stout hanging loop. It looks great resting on a tabletop or hanging from a bracket (though at 10 pounds, it does require an extra-stable support). The square door is one of the four side panels--large enough to allow easy changing of the candle. Plus, its spring is quite strong, so it only opens when you intend it to. Just the right size for a 4-inch pillar candle, the round candle base inside measures 2-1/4 inches in diameter. --Emily Bedard

I bought two of these lantern about four years ago and I still have them. They are still just as beautiful as the day I bought them and and they've been hanging outside ever since I received them. Plop a little tealight inside and it provides hours of soft light and ambiance. They are very heavy so you need a very sturdy hanger if you wish to hang them and they certainly won't blow away in a wind storm. Very well built lantern and you won't be sorry you purchased them!
