Product Description

Enjoy the luxurious comfort and superior cleanliness of a bidet in your own home, without expensive remodeling. The Astor Bidet Fresh Water Spray Non-Electric Mechanical Bidet Toilet Seat Attachment converts any standard toilet into a bidet in just a few minutes - no special tools or plumbing skills required.
Ultimate Fresh Water Cleansing
The Astor Bidet connects directly to the fresh water supply, providing you with a spray of water for your personal hygiene that's far more comfortable and thorough than scratchy toilet paper. As a result - and an added bonus - you'll be helping the environment by using less toilet paper or wet wipes.
The spray nozzle is retracted when not in use, ensuring that the highest level of sanitation is maintained. To extend the nozzle, simply turn on the water spray with the control dial. When you turn it off, the nozzle retracts automatically.
Comfort Adjustable Spray- The Astor Bidet control dial adjusts the pressure of the spray from low to high, according to the preference of each user.
Fast & Easy Installation
This unobtrusive design mounts between the toilet seat and rim of any two-piece toilet (that is, where the tank is a separate unit). All it takes is a screwdriver and 10 to 20 minutes of your time. The mounting bars allow for adjustment to align with the holes on your toilet rim. And because the Astor Bidet operates on water pressure alone, there's no worry about electrical connections.
The Astor Bidet comes complete with all the necessary hoses and adapters, plus installation and operating instructions.
Gold Standard Quality
Backed by a 12 month manufacturer's warranty, the Astor Bidet delivers solid performance along with its comfort features. It's made of durable, high-grade plastic to prevent leaks or rusting and be easy to clean. The Astor Bidet Toilet Seat Attachment offers premium quality at an outstanding value.

I first used a bidet while visiting Japan for 6 weeks. I thought they were great, and when I got home I vowed that I would one day upgrade my toilet to a bidet toilet. I then promptly forgot about it until nearly a year later. I did some research into bidet toilets and one look at the price convinced me to try an alternative. The bidet toilet seat attachments seemed the easiest and cheapest way to go, so I found the cheapest one with the highest ratings and bought it.

I used several different types of bidet while in Japan, and while I really liked the ultra-nice ones with the warm water, the seat heaters, the multiple streams, and the little dryers, none of those are really necessary. This simply little bidet does only one thing: shoot out cold water with varying degrees of pressure. And that is all that I really needed. I was worried that the cold water might be uncomfortable, but it doesn't bother me at all. The water pressure is good, I never need to go above "Low".

It was easy to install, though it would have been about 10 times easier if the instructions weren't utterly worthless. The parts it comes with are fairly intuitive to assemble. The only part that really held me up was the little clear hose that connected the bidet to the toilet tank. I assembled the entire thing and was left with that one piece only to find that it was impossible to get on without taking it all apart again. So make sure that hose is connected to the tank attachment before putting the attachment on the tank.

Oh, and when I say easy to install, I am speaking as a woman who has never done any plumbing work in her life - the most I assemble are bookshelves and desks. So, yeah, really easy to install.

Instructions:
1. Connect the clear hose to the toilet tank thingy.
2.

I have never used a bidet before but have been curious for awhile after seeing them used all over Europe. So I thought I'd give it a try with this one since it was the cheapest one I found. That way wouldn't be a big loss if I didn't like it. Well I really do like it. It makes the whole process feel cleaner. And this one is worth the money. Its nothing fancy but does exactly what it is supposed to do. Very easy install with no leaks or any other problems. I had been worried about only cold water living in the north where the water is very cold, not a problem at all. Overall I went for the cheapest and got a well constructed solid bidet that performs well. I'd definitely buy this one again.

We purchased three of these Astor Bidets after reading lots of reviews online. I installed two of them in our house and we saved one for a birthday present. The instructions were very simple to understand. It took me 20 minutes to install the first one and about the same to install the second one. We have been using them for 1 month and they both work perfectly. No leaks at all so far.

We live in Washington State and cold water is not a problem. I used to use lots of toilet paper, 4 baby wipes and flush 3 or 4 times. Now I just use a little toilet paper to dry off and flush once. These bidets are going to pay for themselves in a short time. I was worried about leaks after reading some negative reviews but I'm assuming those leaks were caused by the installers. You can't use a pipe wrench and tighten it too tight. Finger tight or maybe a pair of plyers to tighten a little extra works well.

Come on Americans lets clean up back there. The rest of the world is passing us up on several fronts, lets get with the program and not let them pass us up on the back end also.

It's a good product for the price. I would highly recommend it.

I purchased the Astor bidet after having installed a Luxe MB110 a few months prior, and loving it. From the photos, the Astor looks almost identical to the Luxe, and it was just over half the price, so I figured I'd give it a shot. It works, but not quite as well as the Luxe.

The Astor bidet seemed a bit cheaper, in that the pieces didn't fit together quite as perfectly as they did when I installed the Luxe. Nothing leaks, so other than a little hassle in fitting it all together, this doesn't appear to be a big issue. Overall, the bidet installs very easily.

Maybe it is just the difference in the way the two models fit on my two different toilets, but the Luxe seems to spray at a more convenient angle and with a more concentrated stream; it's much more comfortable to use and effective than the Astor. My biggest complaint is that the Astor (at least mine) reaches maximum pressure at the medium setting, and turning the dial beyond that turns the pressure back down. The stream is adequate, but it would be nice if it had a little more 'juice'. The Luxe gets almost painfully strong around the medium setting, and I have never dared to turn it any higher than that. Having said all that, the Astor does what it is supposed to do reasonably well, and it's a good value for the money.

From an aesthetics standpoint, the base of the Luxe where the control dial sits is flush with the rest of the unit, whereas this same part of the Astor is raised. Not a big deal, but the Astor just doesn't blend in as well as the Luxe does; it looks cheaper.

Overall, the Astor isn't bad, and it is WAY better than no bidet at all. But when it came time to purchase my third bidet, I went back to the Luxe. It's well worth the extra money.
