About the Author
Simone Butler is an intuitive yet practical astrologer with more than 25 years of experience in helping people engage with the mystery of their lives. In addition to her consulting practice with clients worldwide, Simone has taught a variety of astrology classes, most recently at Vintage Religion in San Diego and the Golden Door in Escondido. Simone produced the daily forecasts for the Starscroll for many years. She now writes New and Full Moon forecasts for www.Tarot.com. Astro Feng Shui, the system Simone developed in 2008, combines the ancient art of astrology with feng shui, as a user-friendly system for effecting change. Simone is certified by the Western School of Feng Shui. Her article on Astro Feng Shui was the Aug./Sept. 2009 cover story of The Mountain Astrologer. Simone began her career as fashion editor for the California Apparel News in Los Angeles. Since then she has since written many articles, including celebrity interviews, for publications including Outside Magazine, L.A. Times and San Diego Union-Tribune. She served as arts editor for THE TAB in Sedona, and arts writer for KPBS On Air Magazine in San Diego. Simone’s story, Finding the Goddess in Zeus’s Cave, was published in Greece: A Love Story in 2007. Simone currently lives in San Diego, California. Unexpectedly Helpful and Even Profound,

I really like this little book. Too many books even in the popular psychology arena describe problems or realities but don't offer ways to ameliorate them. Simone Butler's book offers simple yet powerful rituals one can do at the New Moons to clear and enhance all areas of life. Some astrological and/or feng shui knowledge will be useful in using the book most effectively, but even the uninitiated in those subjects will find value in performing the New Moon exercises and rituals. What I especially like about the book is whether or not one achieves the dramatic results some of Butler's clients did, the book trains the reader to pay attention to and appreciate positive results big or small that may accrue to one using the principles.
