The tools are made of a fairly soft plastic to ensure that it doesn't scratch, so if you try and use just the tips of the tools they will bend and possibly break. The key is to keep working the tool into the crack as you pry out a panel, and use multiple tools to keep parts of the panel separate as you work your way around the edge of the panel. Removed the center console of my Kia in less than a minute with these and absolutely no damage to the hard plastic of the console or the softer plastic of the rest of the dash.

used to pop audio dashboard panel from 2004 honda accord and these tools are very sturdy and well made. The color is a bit funky haha but hey, these are affordable and will get the job done perfectly. would buy again and recommend to family & friends.

This is a must have for anyone who enjoys DIY projects involving cars. The plastic material ensures that no deep scratches are left. And the different shapes and sizes ensure that you can get into any space you find yourself working with. I bought these after putting a few scratches in my car from using metal screwdrivers. Great price considering it prevents you from having to look at an ugly scratch every time you get into your car.

I bought this set of tools because it mimics the same tools used by import auto service professionals to remove body trim parts and such, without damaging those parts. As advertised, this tool set helped me remove my damaged bumper and replace it with a new one. I'm keeping this set as I think it'll be useful for just about any vehicle model with body trim parts (not just import autos).

Good and useful tools for work on your car. Not the best plastic material, but compare with price is good. I have already damaged one tool when I was tried to remove big plastic part from metal holder, but it was also my fault. I can say: you should work with these tools gently and without big power on them and they will last forever!
Worked very well with door panels when I was tried to remove them. No any wear or damage on other plastic parts in my car! Maybe that's way these tools made from soft plastic? I satisfied by purchase. I can recommend these tools for car funs. Even if this tools will work only one day on your car thy will save your money to bay new car parts. I have been using them about month and satisfied.

Product arrived in the usual fast manner through amazon prime. Upon opening the package, the tools were much larger than i expected, which is a great thing. They fit perfectly in my hand, feel solid and do exactly what they're intended for. The material is soft enough not to scratch surfaces, but rigid enough to pop out interior trim and pop out retaining clips without breaking them. I recommend this to all automotive DIY-ers.

I used these on my Accord and my new 2012 Jetta -- leave no markings, no tearing in plastic, and are great to remove those annoying a$$ plastic clips that car companies use now!

Used these tools to install a bluetooth car kit. The tools work well but you must be careful to insert the tools deep into the groves to obtain the proper leverage. Reviewers of similar tools have complained that the plastic tools easily break. However, they probably did not insert the tool far enough under the trim or molding to release the trim from its fastener. Unless the tip of the tool is far under the trim, the tips can break off. Also, the cover of the packaging snaps on and off, making it convenient to store the tools in the original packaging.

I purchased this set to help remove door paneling for a speaker install in my car. They worked great and didn't damage any of the trim. The only other thing worth mentioning was that the set Amazon shipped to me was orange instead of yellow.
