This kit fits perfectly with my non AP brand ball joint press. I've been beating up these adapters and they come back for more. So far, they won't let me bend, twiat or break under ht e abuse I've put them through so far. Much less expensive than other brands

It works very, very well.

I am pleased and happy with my set, its was more than what i was looking for, and now i have the right tool for the job and have more it if i need it.

I just replaced ball joint in a 2003 Acura tl. I had rented a press from auto zone, which was a small set and didn't have the right adapters. This is a musch larger set and had every thing I needed. Worked perfectly

I needed this Master set bc this was a custom application of OEM ball joints with an aftermarket upper control arms. I`m glad I purchased the Master set as I didn`t really know if the smaller sets would have done the job! This Ball Joint Service Set with the large selection of adapters made the Installation a snap! The C-Clamp press, together with the correct application of adapters worked flawlessly! Def worth it! a big thumbs up!

I used this press to remove the lower ball joints on my 1995 Ford Explorer. I've never used a ball joint press before. The instructions were horrid and confusing. I learned how to use it by using Google and watching online videos and then playing with it using a new lower ball joint on my workbench.

It worked great to press out the old lower ball joint (used impact gun and 22mm deep socket) but it was not big enough to press in the new joint. I had to use one of the receiving tubes and the removing adapter on a jack to press in the new joint. I raised the jack until the new ball joint was in the control arm hole and had weight on it. Then I lightly hammered the control arm downward to press in the new ball joint.

I am disappointed I could not use it to press in the new ball joint which is why I did not rate it higher.

(By the way using a jack / hammer method is way faster than using the tool to install anyway)

This set had all of the adapters I needed to do upper and lower ball joints on my Jeeps (YJ, XJ, ZJ), including the angled adapter for installing the upper ball joint. I only gave it 4 stars because the clamp was a little weaker than some I have had. It is already warped. I will buy a better clamp at another time.

BROUGHT THIS TOOL TO DO MY UPPER AND LOWER BALL JOINT'S, BROUGHT THE MASTER SET,LOOKED UP MY DODGE IN THEIR INSTRUCTION BOOK THAT TELLS YOU WHAT TOOLS TO USE.THE INSTRUCTION'S FOR DODGE ARE VERY BAD,THE CHEV AND FORD ARE EASY TO FOLLOW.I CALLED ASTRO PNEUMATIC FOR HELP,THE FIRST MAN TOLD ME YOU JUST HAVE TO FIGURE IT OUT,CALLED BACK THE SECOND MAN WAS HELPFUL,HE LOOKED AT THE INSTRUCTION BOOK AND SAID THEY WERE HAVING A LOT OF PEOPLE CALLING NEEDING HELP WITH THE SAME PROBLEM I'AM HAVING.SAID HE WOULD LOOK IN TO IT AND GET BACK TO ME.WAITED 2 WEEKS NO PHONE CALL OR E-MAIL.E-MAIL THEM NICOLE FISHER E-MAILED BACK SAID SHE WAS SORRY,AND SENT THE SAME INSTRUCTION BOOK.CALLED HER SHE HOOKED ME UP WITH RUBIN HE GAVE ME WHAT TOOL NUMBERS TO USE BUT THEY DIDN'T MATCH WHAT WAS IN THE INSTRUCTION BOOK,I ASKED HOW HE GOT THESE NUMBER HE SAID HE BEEN DOING THIS FOR YEARS AND KNOWS WHICH TOOLS TO USE.HE ALSO SAID YOU MIGHT HAVE TO MODIFY SOME OF THE TOOLS TO MAKE THEM WORK.I GOT MY BALL JOINT DONE BUT WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM ASTRO PNEUMATIC TOOL CO AGAIN.
