I had a set of the traditional snap ring pliers that claim to be heavy duty and up to the task. In reality they were prone to slipping off the rings i attempted for to used them with since they were the wrong size for the job. These snap ring pliers in contrast are a good example of how something cheaply made can still be very effective if properly designed. I highly recommend these if you need a set of snap ring pliers of varying sizes to use once in a while and do not want to spend a fortune on a better quality set that will just collect dust.

For the price I paid on Amazon this is a complete set of inner and outer snap ring pliers. I bought the set to put it away for the once in a year use where you get stuck without them. Some tips are miss aligned to the extend that I will find out in future whether they bite or can be aligned with pliers prior to use. For somebody planning more than the occasional use, I would look for higher quality. Also the rubber fumes from the box are overwhelming, outside use only.

Delivered on time as always with Amazon. As other reviews have stated, extremely poor manufacturing quality. I was hoping to use the product once to replace hubs on my truck. The jaws and pins were made so poorly that I couldn't use at all. I was a 100 miles away doing this repair and had to use screwdrivers, pliers and a Swiss army knife to make the repair. Don't waste your money even if you will use this product only once. Very poor even for Chinese.

I purchased this item to complete a small job, i received the the package incomplete, one of the snap ring pliers was missing. the quality is of a tool that i would buy at walgreens or dollar general, sooo yea.

I got this set to do a master cylinder rebuild on my 87 Helix. Are they cheap Chinese tools? Yup, but if you are like me then you only need a snap-ring plier on that rare occasion. You might be able to remove/install a snap ring with something else but having the right tool makes it so much easier and you're less likely damage the ring. This set has different sizes and a combination of straight and bent noses. It also includes some nice needle picks with handles. The reason I gave it 5 stars is for the price (23$).

Amazon is a great source for tools...you can find nice, high-quality tools at a good price (for regular use) and you can also get some cheap but effective tools for a great price. Just do your research and read the reviews.

I've only used one of these to work on an atv brake rebuild but it did what I needed. Seems like decent quality too.

Very poor quality. As another reviewer noted, some pliers have badly misaligned pins and are probably not usable. Others have sharp edges above the plastic handles, they appear to be cheap stamped metal.

The pins pointed in all different directions. The handles weren't even straight.
Honestly, how hard is it to make this stuff? This is the epitome of cheap Chinese crap! Not everything made in China is crap, but these are. If low quality is ok for you just buy the 4 dollar set and you will have the same capability and even better quality than these. I'm surprised Astro Pnuematic has sunk this low. Their ball joint press wasn't too bad.

The snap ring set that I bought is a great value for the price. I ended up buying two sets and I gave one to a friend for Christmas, since he needed some for working on his motorcycles. I already used a couple of the tools from the set and am very happy to say that they worked well.

Works as advertised and works well. It ain't rocket science but it better not fall apart on me like 99% of the cheap a$$ Chinese made products out there. Holdin' up after a few uses so we'll see bruh.
