Purchased the Astro Pneumatic WINDK Air Windshield Remover with 5 piece blade set. It was delivered in about two weeks in what appeared to be a new box. When I tried to use this tool the air motor ran like crazy, but nothing happened regarding the blade. I unscrewed the top, gear portion, from the bottom, air motor, and found that the bearing for the top of the motor was worn out. The outer bearing race was missing and only two of the bearing balls were still present. The eccentric, that the bearing runs in was missing and the yoke that the eccentric fits into was worn to the point that one side was worn off completely. THIS ITEM IS USELESS.
It appears that someone used this item untill it stopped working, took it apart, as I did, found that it was worn beyond repair, dumped some of the loose parts out, packed some new greese into the drive portion and when the replacement, Astro Pneumatic WINDK Air Windshield remover with 5 piece blade set was delivered they simply put the old, worn out item into the new box the replacement came in and sold it for more than half what a new item cost. Pretty neat.

In my opinion, there is no way the seller could not have known the condition of this tool, considering the missing internal parts and new grease that was packed into the cavity that the parts were missing from.

It would be nice if Amazon barred this seller permenantly, since this seems to be a common way of disposing of trash on many Auction sites.

I bought this after having borrowed other peoples. It took all effort out of removing glass. With new blades you can do a real nice job.
