Editorial Reviews

From the Publisher

Astrology for the 21st Century combines the ancient traditions of astrology with our modern ways of thinking to synthesize a radically new and exciting approach to astrology. The innovative ideas alone are exciting, but the author then goes a step further, and presents research that supports these groundbreaking concepts. Amazingly, the author leads the reader through a great deal of information on the history, philosophy, art, and science of astrology from the mystical to the mathematical in such a fascinating and engrossing manner that one hardly realizes how much is being learned in the process. Astrology for the 21st Century is a breakthrough in astrological literature. Never before has a book critically examined astrology so thoroughly, and been able to demonstrate in simple and clear terms the value of studying this subject.

From the Author

Astrology for the 21st Century is a radical departure from other astrological works. This book takes the reader on a journey of discovery that has never before been presented. I believe that both skeptics as well as believers in astrology will find this book informative and interesting. Although an intelligent approach is taken to the subject, I believe that nearly anyone who is literature and has some curiosity about astrology will thoroughly enjoy this book. This book neither repeats the ancient beliefs regarding astrology as most astrology books do, nor does it engage in intellectual sophistry; a door is opened to an exciting and practical understanding and use of astrology.

5.0 out of 5 stars Breaking new ground, June 16, 2010
This review is from: Astrology for the 21st Century (Paperback)
David Cochrane, the genius behind the Kepler and Sirius astrology software programs, breaks new ground in his work to take astrology out of the realm of theory by analyzing real-world outcomes. As he is the first to admit, this is an ongoing endeavor. David is in love with harmonics, with numbers and frequencies, and his experiments in these fields entice us, the reader, to fall in love, too: what can be more seductive than proof.. unless it is continuing revelation, new directions, the hidden brought to light? Rather than a tome of pronouncements, this is a book about beginnings, about the search for new information, and about the surprising power of subtle connections between the energies we call planets. In a way, this is a mystery novel, challenging us to join David in discovering the meaning of many still-undeciphered levels of the harmonic continuum. David is one of the contemporary pioneers in astrology and this book will provide any astrologer with a lot to think about.
