I obviously don't check the reviews for my book often enough. One written in June 1999 seems to deal with a book different from the one I wrote. The review says that the book deals with rising signs and that it gives advice on how people with different rising signs should live their lives. The book doesn't deal with that material. In fact, you'll find only a few index references to Ascendant-Descendant, and none to "rising sign." So I don't know what book that reviewer was reading. (I don't want, here, to review my own book. I've given it a 5 star rating simply because I can't submit this commentary unless I offer a rating.)

Tim Lyons

This work takes a psychological and spiritual approach to astrology. Lyons is a practicing Buddhist and brings this perspective to the work. It is especially excellent for those on 4th, 8th, and 12th house journeys. It is not a cookbook, or rising sign book!

This is a very short and general book. It goes through each of the rising signs and tells how the person with that rising sign ought to live their lives. I didn't find it very helpful.
