5.0 out of 5 stars Astrology has indeed been disproved, December 5, 2000

This review is from: Astrology Disproved (Hardcover)
Once a believer of astrology and the efficacy this psuedoscience claimed to have on the world, I found relief in Lawrence Jerome's ground-breaking book. He takes the complex maze of astrology and points out how astrologers have used its dead-end pathways as a mere source of power and control. Jerome debunks the premises of astrology's claims from every angle, including the real effects of planets on the earth; how astrology was created as a tool for power; the lack of cause and effect between astrology and personality; how the esotericism of astrology makes it only "seem" real and effectual. Anyone who is attracted to the complexity of this psuedoscience, or who is needing to break free from its limits, will find this book helpful. The writing is easy to understand and the research is responsible; in fact, the research easily shows astrology to be nothing modern society knows it to be.
