good astronomy, star a poor role model
Another review says the girl is great. I wouldn't show this video to children because of the put-downs between the children and lack of respect to the parents. The astronomy part was good but misleading. My guess is that the four pieces of equipment shown, plus the maps, are worth more than [$$$]. That is not cheap. First, the film is only 25 minutes long and over-priced. Second,it assumes that you already have some understanding of astronomy. I bought it for a very bright 7 year old who was not engaged. However, the young girl in the film is sweet and gives the film it's major appeal.
