5.0 out of 5 stars Kickass German Metalcore with NO clean vocals!
This band is simply amazing... The riffs are killer, the vocals are well done with a scathing assault on the ears, no clean singing which to me is great, because nowadays clean vox seem to rule metalcore. This is the way metalcore should be played. The songs are well written and played, the production is stellar. If you like bands along the lines of Day of Suffering,...

3.0 out of 5 stars Heavy, simplistic grooves
To their credit, these Germans were metalcore long before it sported mascara and sing-along choruses. Heavy, simplistic grooves dominate, with occasional speedy metal moments. The screamed and growled vocals grate after a while. Little stands out, although the first song features interesting lyrics about German guilt over the Holocaust.

If you like bands along the lines of Day of Suffering, Acme, Bolt Thrower (even a Both Thrower cover song on this record!) you will dig this CD. So if bands like Killswitch Engage and Poison The Well have let you down with their latest records, pick up anything by Heaven Shall Burn. you wont be let down.
