5.0 out of 5 stars Cool
Works great. I was surprised that the box contents also includes provision for a second fan. Doesn't look like I need it in my current set up but sure could come in handy.

3.0 out of 5 stars Bonito pero..!

4.0 out of 5 stars good DIY cooler, June 4, 2009
This review is from: Asus Triton 70 Heatsink (Accessory)
If you wand to assemble your CPU cooler this is a good choice, it has step-by step instructions. After installing, the temperature of my Pentium 4 cpu fell almost 10C degrees relative to stock cooling, with much less noise. The fan wires are short though, and the second fan can take a lot of space in you istall it.

4.0 out of 5 stars Works well and is pretty quiet!, November 10, 2011

Bought this to fix my moms Dell studio. I installed this and removed the high speed from the fan and this still managed to bring down the temperature 12 degrees Celsius. WITH LESS AIRFLOW!Its better than stock and it has a bracket to add an additional fan if you choose! Good deal for the money!

5.0 out of 5 stars Cool replacement, May 13, 2011

The CPU fan on one of my PCs had failed. It was still running but was so noisy that you could not be in the room with it. I ordered the ASUS Triton 70 cooler. It was very easy to replace the old cooler withe this much bigger unit. This has twice the cooling fins of the original Intel unit that had fan failure. It only took the 4 twist fasteners to remove the old one from the CPU and the same to install the new one. The unit runs dead quiet now and is cooler than ever!

5.0 out of 5 stars Cools EXTREMELY well, May 29, 2009

I bought this for my AMD X2 5600, because my stock cooler broke. I have my processor overclocked to 3.2 ghz, and even so it rarely gets above 50 degrees with this cooler.

TIP: Since this is located near the case fans, I reversed them to blow INTO the case, and through the fins and this seemed to improve it even further.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great cooler for the price, February 24, 2009

[...]On my overclocked AMD x2 chip it lowered the max temps down by 10 degrees C while running Prime95 (compared to stock cooler). Easy to install for both AMD and Intel chips. Not as bulky as some other coolers, yet does the job. Happy camper here.
