Does everything I expected it to. Much to my surprise, although it was refurbished, it arrived completely unscathed. I was a little worried about the packaging it came in--perhaps I was a little paranoid because I'm used to coddling computer components--but it was in impeccable condition. It's really a great gaming laptop, and I never miss out on a chance to rub it in somebody's face when they show me a lesser laptop (one equipped with integrated Intel graphics accelerators) that costed more than mine. Ho, that's satisfying.

Ahem, but yes, this laptop's really beautiful. A nice glossy top with a pretty cool graphic on it, with showy blinking LEDs embedded in it. It came pre-installed with Windows Vista, some miscellaneous programs and all the driver CDs were packaged with the laptop--pretty much everything I expected from a computer store. Well, I wiped the hard drive the second I got it, put Windows 7 on it, and it runs like a charm. I play the current games like Team Fortress 2, Left4Dead 2, Left 4 Dead, and other games all at their highest detail setting with no slow down. And hey, even the little LED thing on the front still works after I installed Windows 7. The Direct Console still functions regularly and everything works really good. The keyboard isn't a microcosm of keyboards as far as laptops run. Unfortunately, it does run a little hot where my hands are on the keyboard, though.

Overall, I feel this was a great investment. Highly recommended.

been using one of these for gaming online, and never a hiccup! The screen is so crisp and clear! and the blue lights are cool at night! I just simply think It Is Great! and thats that!

This Laptop can do it all, and a little bit more.
I do a lot of Freelance work at home with the true-wide screen it helps.
This laptop runs Adobe Creative Suite and H.A.W.X with no problems.

Asus has me hooked.

I had a few reservations on buying a refurbished laptop, but I needed a fast laptop that wasn't too high in price. Let me tell you that this laptop is excellent. First of all, it came in three days early than the estimated shipping date. Second, it runs all my programs and games very fast and efficient, for those gaming nerds out there, it ran Crysis on high at about 30 fps. So great overall buy for any gamer, or just someone who wants a cheap, good laptop.

This is not the first laptop that i buy and its refurbished.
But it is the first from ASUS and I can sure you its the one of the best.
It has the great performance and the great quality . Has no scratch on it.
everything work fine. And right now I'm looking to buy one more.
