I've had the Asus Maximus & Asus P5Q Deluxe and I have to say that Rampage Gene ii is the miles ahead of these two when it comes to overclocking and rock solid performance. I've been using now for a 1 month with OCZ Tri-Channel 1840MHz ram-- not once has my system crashed and I leave it on all day and night. It's great. I've been OC'ing my I7 chip at 3GHz and ram at 1600MHz 7-7-7-20 non stop. Not one hic-up. Plus you get more room in your case. I love it!!!

this is such a great product!!! i love ASUS and would never buy from anyone else. everything worked right out of the box. right now iam running a core I7 920 @ 3.6 ghz with my temps never higher then 45C using a cooler master V8. two Geforce GTX 260's in sli and six gigs of OCZ reaper pc3 14400, 1800 MHZ. PLUS it came with Kaspersky antivirus, and 3D Mark 06...

i bought the asus rampage motherboard and the i7 processor my dream was to build my own gaming system and i have been using this system for a week or so running my system almost 24hrs a day so far the system is so cool and its extremely cool and the games run perfectly on it.i would rate the board a 5 star.cheers

Exceptionally clean layout, fantastic performance, micro-ATX size. Hard to improve on this board, given that it handles 6+ GB memory, 7 SATA ports (1 e-sata), fast i7 processor, on-board 7.1 sound, 12 USB, 2 Firewire, 2 PCI-e 2.0, etc.

Solid, fast, small, well-constructed, with good over-clocking tools and potential. I say this having built systems based on Asus Maximus Formula SE and Intel DX58SO Smackover, and this mATX is just as fast. The Smackover is o'clocked to 3.5 GHz, 1600-MHz memory bus (i7-920 C0 stepping), and I expect the Rampage II Gene easily will exceed this level with D0 stepping.

There's little not to like. Of the five systems I've built, this is the board I am really pleased with. Buy without worry. In fact - enjoy!

This motherboard is awesome. Don't be fooled by its size. Has everything that you will need. The quality is fantastic. For the price, is one of the best options for an i7 LGA1366.

I have my Core i7 920 easily overclocked to 3.5GHz and the system is stable even under the highest loads. This motherboard is as easy to setup as you can imagine. Plenty of options to setup and overclock. Excellent memory and device compatibility. This is for sure one of the best X58 motherboards in the market!

This is by far the best mATX board I've ever used. From the way it is physically laid out, to the way it almost OCs for you...outstanding. My thing about building is 'work from the buses out'. That seems to be Asus's approach as well. It makes flawless work of Intel's xmp. Without my touching a thing it had 12g of 1600 ram clocking over 2000. Then I started to play with it. Long story short...I'm tempted to get some liquid nitrogen to see how fast an i7 will actually go, and this is the board for it.

If you use 2 vidio cards theres no room for your sound card the 2nd cards cover up your pci slot for sound card
