Purchased this Motherboard along with a X3 AMD chip with 6 MB cache and 4 GB 1066 Memory. Running Windows Vista this makes for a good combo. I do two sessions of Video conversion with Any Video Converter and also on the Internet at the same time. No slow down with this Combo.

I bought this motherboard to replace an older board that had gone bad and chose it primarily because it had the HDMI graphics. It's the third Asus board I've purchased, and I've been pleased with all. Setup was easy - the board immediately recognized the CPU, memory, and disk drives, though if you have more than one hard drive installed, you must be careful to correctly assign which one is the boot disk. I'm running an X4 processor in the board and haven't had any problems.

This isn't a high-performance, state-of-the art motherboard for gaming, but it does a good job on everyday computing tasks and is a good buy.

purchased to upgrade an old emachines computer. added an Athlon II X4 cpu, socket AM2+. the install was very straight forward. decent instructions, plus, good support software. I really like the ASUS bios with built in internet support, etc. Allows you full internet access and numerous boot options, outside of the operating system. The ease of overclocking and add-on software is very good.

Layout of the board is good, it comes with an accessory port template for a clean install on any standard mini-ATX form factor case. Only complaint is the board only include one on-board ide port (allowing two ide drives) and only 1 SATA cable but, this information is included in the product description.
