Alone this is a beast. In SLI play all the current and future games in the highest settngs. I am particulary astonished. As you know this is a highend graphic card and there is no sense combine it with standard computer pieces.

This card runs insanely hot. One of the GPU's will easily pass 90C for a temperature. That's just insane. I can't recommend this with this much heat. Also.. there is a bit of micro-stutter due to it being an SLI GPU. I'm sure the temperature could be reduced if I had a bigger case. But even then.. I have pretty good airflow. I don't see this card going below 80C on full load. It did get frames a bit beyond a reference GTX 780ti. The build quality of the card is outstanding and comes with a magnetic ROG case badge. Supposedly this card can run at 105C for 10,000 hours. Problem is.. at that temp you are heating up your whole case. Over all i'm kind of disappointed due to the insane heat. I can't justify paying this much money for a energy hog either. Benchmarks determined that it can take up to 400w on full load. That's another computer worth of wattage! I have a 650w and it ran fine on it. I would definitely not go below that. I will be returning it. If you have really really good cooling and a large computer tower.. you could be ok with the temps. I cannot recommend it over a single card set up though. Just spend the money on a 290x or 780ti and you will be happier.
