1.0 out of 5 stars There's a definite drug problem in the U.S., December 30, 2011
This review is from: Asus P5NT WS Socket T NVIDIA nForce Dual PCI-E x 16 ATX Server Motherboard (Personal Computers)
First off, I did not buy this board. Why? For the same reason I won't buy any electronics from people who think they are holding something akin to a vintage 1901 Victrola. This board was half this price when it came out. Seriously - why is it that everyone selling PC hardware thinks they've got a precious gem?! Please, to all of you trying to rape people on 7 or 8 year old ram, motherboards and CPUs: I suggest you talk to a sane appraiser, who will tell you that:

a)This board is worth $50 at most due to the current market, (please see MOORE'S LAW)
b)Most people will not invest over $400 just to keep an outdated cpu running; no, no they won't.

Instead, they will throw the old guts on the curb and build a new system. $50 for 8GB of ddr3, $149 for a comparable motherboard, and $300 for the current fastest Intel CPU. There. That is only slightly more expensive than this 'precious' motherboard. In case you are all holding out for this reason, I will inform you all that, yes, pci-e is backwards compatible with older cards.

Please stop wasting all of our time with these. You're angering those of us who'd like to keep a working spare, by making us wade through reams of your ridiculous sales postings. Nobody is looking to squeeze 'bleeding edge' out of ancient hardware.

I only wonder sometimes if it's all drug related - you know? Like how Gates thought he needed $340 for a copy of Windows 7, when Windows has such a bad track record that he had to illicitly undermine BeOS.

If you feel like I do, feel free to copy/paste this to other ridiculous sales ads.
