PROS:
-Quality: This card is heavy with an amazingly designed board and metal fan covers. The cooler keeps it under 64c even when benchmarking!
-Frames: I am getting 299FPS in Street Fighter 4 Ultra, 100FPS in Tomb Raider, 200s in Diablo ROS and SC2. I would highly recommend this card for people using 120 or 144mhz monitors.
-Noise: I use MSI Afterburner software to manually keep the fan on its lowest speed @ 35% then bump up while gaming. These fans are the quietest fans I've ever owned and are very efficient at cooling. I barely notice they are even on while gaming. I have a silent build in a micro ATX case.
-Aesthetics: This is a custom PCB GTX980 with a gorgeous cooler.
-Drivers: I am using 344.16 and haven't found any glitches yet. I never knew how unreliable my AMD card drivers were until now. I'll never go back at this point! AMD Fanboy converted.
-Power: This cards uses an 8pin and 6pin PCIex connection on my 550watt power supply. nvidia recommends a 500w minimum on their site. I was worried about this but haven't run into any issues yet. I'm sure my electric bill will thank me for this upgrade later on.
-Back Plate: This card isn't going to sag any time soon. I still supported it with a trash tie but it isn't needed.

CONS:
-Connections: There is only 1 DVI-D and 1 HDMI port on the back! Dispalyports are not even mainstream yet so you'll need top buy cables if you plan on using 3 monitors like myself. I knew this before I bought it but be warned.

Thoughts: I upgraded from an AMD 6870 which I held on to for a long time. I went from 23 frames to 200 frames in passmark8.0! This was the video card I was waiting for since I wanted something that ran cool, performed well and didn't take a 800w+ PSU to run like the 780ti.

Pros:
Quiet card.
Very fast out of the box.
Quality Built
Fans are idle under normal load, but pick up only when needed.
No heat sink vibrations or anything coming from this card
No coil whine

Cons:
The CD provided doesn't actually provide you any drivers and transfers you to the asus support site to download them. The asus support site doesn't have the most up to date drivers available so I recommend going straight to Nvidia after installation.

I don't game a lot, but was looking for this card to just finish a high end build I started at the beginning of this year.

Coming from a pretty old pair of 6970's, I was really looking forward to these cards. I was seeing benchmarks and reviews and already saw how even just one of these cards was 1.5x faster than both of mine, so to add a second one was icing on the cake. But the frames, while a big part of why I am so happy, were not the only part, not by a long shot.

1. Geforce experience and the control panel were so easy to install and keep updated. I have owned AMD/ATI for about 7 years and it was never as easy as that was. I can now look at the drivers, optimize games with a button, shadowplay and the best part for me is updating the drivers. Crazy. Everything was in tow. The drivers responded well to every game and I didn't have to fiddle with them like I did previously to get them to work correctly in games.

2. I almost forgot I was playing with MY computer in the middle of crisis 3 game. It was so quiet. Like I really couldn't believe it. When the cards aren't doing anything they are off which is great but even in game the fans are so quiet compared to the reference 6970 cards that I always prepared for and could here even when It was stuffed away behind my desk. The case was open and right next to me and I bet I heard more noise from the CPU fan than I did the cards. Best part was the cards never went above 73c. Not even the sandwiched one.

3. Everything plays on max. There is nothing these cards can't do. I play at 1080 with 120hz monitor and it just destroys like nothing before.

4. The power consumption is so little compared to how powerful they are. They already come pre overclocked but you can go even more and not have to worry.

the overclocking ability is incredible.
1499 Mhz 30% faster than the reference.
whisper quiet, when not under any considerable load.Asus really takes advantage of the Maxwell architecture and brings it to the next level. I highly recommend this purchase, running two of them in an SLI configuration is a complete beast of the setup. Full review to follow.

+ Excellent overclocking potential
+ Solid build quality with 10-phase Digi+ VRM Super Alloy Power design
