This is well worth the money. If you have never seen this band, they are fabulous. They play all kinds of ununsual instruments and use no amps or electricity when performing live. I would, of course, rather see them live, but this dvd is very good and captures the mood of their show very well. I love the whole thing, but the three best moments, in my opinion, are when they do Dance This Mess Around by the B52's, Wammo's Hick Hop and Christina's musical saw on The Minor Waltz. The whole thing is great and I would recommend it to just about anyone with any decent taste in music.

These guys are absolutely incredible! This DVD finally captures the entire essence that is the Asylum Street Spankers. Their musicaly ability is incredible and has been evidenced on their past CDs, but this DVD finally gets the whole scene down. It's not just the notes, sounds and words, it's the facial expressions and actions that create their unique form of acoustic vaudville-ish performances. If you can sit through this and not be alternately amazed and on the floor doubled over in laughter...then you definitely need some help! Buy it!

Hello all! If you have not heard of or (heaven forbid) seen the Asylum Street Spankers, you are missing out on one of the great acoustic bands of the last decade. The personnel changes frequently with the exception of Christine and Wammo. However the line up for this particular show is my favorite of all previous contributors. Good music, great talent, and terrific humor...what more can you ask for......except pehaps to see them in person

If you are into music...any...blues, jazz, comical, zydeco, innovative, soon to be a "classic" this is the one...these guys I just learned of, and hooked...this DVD is for anyone who likes music, and a laugh...rated highly

The feature recording in this is great; little rough in the processing/FX/video quality, and the audio quality is average, but nothing can bring down the Spankers. The energy they give on this show is superb, and any fan of the Spankers NEEDS this DVD.

As well, the bonus Japan footage is downright hilarious in many cases.
