Format: Paperback Verified Purchase
Pros - The format of the book is great: a short, 2-page story followed by a vocabulary exercise and some comprehension questions.

Cons - Many. The first few stories are okay, even somewhat entertaining. After that, they become more and more contrived, lack style and are disjointed and nonsensical. The stories also often have money and wealth, or the lack thereof, as a central theme. I think the author is obsessed with money and being a do-gooder. Unfortunately, what is so disturbing about the do-gooder stories is that money seems to always be the solution to the characters' problems. Sad.

I do NOT recommend this book.
