EXCELENT,

This review is from: At the Albert Hall (Audio CD)
This is one of her best live concerts ever. The participation of the audience is fantastic. I wish it was available on video to own, or I wish I could have been there myself to enjoy it.

Presently I have this on Lp.This is the best shows of her (with "British Concert" & "Recital 70').At this period Nana had her full magic with its full potential. Her fine combination with the Athenians (which added important greek spice to the show) with the excellent sound quality of this recording & her strong performance ability, create her finest 70's recording.

This is an excellent CD! It combines beautifully the Greek spirit with the European tradition and Mouskouri's voice is the prefect instrument to bring all those elements together. She sounds very fresh, bright and her introductions to the songs "break the ice" with the audience. Among the highlights of the CD are the songs from Manos Hadjidakis'music for the ancient comedy "Birds" which are unique and very rarely heard anymore. Mouskouri in her live productions of the 70ies is unique and worth to listen to.
