5.0 out of 5 stars A perfect case of democratic misbehavior
I agree with the reviewer from Melbourne and know many people who where going to vote for Bush but didn't only because of the fiasco in the media announcing Al Gore as the winner and that polls were closed. And how about all of the Military votes, many which would have gone to Bush whch were thrown out!A perfect example of Democratic Misbehavior.

2.0 out of 5 stars Should be "Trash Gore at Any Cost"
The only reason that I could rate this book with 2 stars instead of one is that I am a Bush backer and distain Al Gore. However, I hoped to read a factual, well researched and documented account of how low Al Gore would go. Instead, I got editorial commentary.

Sammon makes MANY statements that he passes as fact, yet offers no source or documentation. This is a one...

5.0 out of 5 stars Al Gore Tried, but failed--the right man won, January 11, 2003
This review is from: At Any Cost: How Al Gore Tried to Steal the Election (Hardcover)
This book shows just how dirty the democrats were during that lastelection; how they tried every cheap and dirty trick possible; preannouncing a bogus winner; irresponsibly and deceptivefully lying, but even afterall that, the right man came out on top.

It's not surprising to see that Al Gore has dropped out of the election for 2004. If he couldn't win after all the cheating i 2000, what chance would he have now?

The dispictable actions of the democrats in Minnesota last fall further ppproves that democrats are not ready for leadership now or anytime in the immediate future.

5.0 out of 5 stars What the media refused to report (or altered), December 8, 2002
By A Customer
If there was ever any doubt that the media is biased in their reporting, the last Presidential election removed those doubts and this book explains why.As a former democrat who voted for Clinton, I am disgusted with Mr. Gore and ashamed of my former alliance. The recent fiasco in Minnesota with Mondale validates that the Republican party is the only party and that Al Gore deserved to lose that last election.

5.0 out of 5 stars Pennsylvanians didn't vote for Gore either, March 25, 2003

I am not surprised to hear than not one southern state voted for Gore or that most states voted for Bush.As a Pennsylvanian, I and many from the Keystone state, particularly those who are anti-abortion voted for Bush as well.Gore acted like a selfish thief during the election and like a crybaby afterwards. And this man wanted to be our leader? No thanks!

5.0 out of 5 stars Florida was not the only state that didn't want Gore, March 20, 2003
By
Frank (Albertville, Al) - See all my reviews
Although Florida sees to be the main focus on why Al Gore "lost" to George Bush in 2000, interesting is that not one southern state voted for Gore.Even Gore's native Tennessee voted against him. That should tell you something.I also find it interesting that Gore blames Clinton for losing the election. Are Gore's excuses endless?Clinton carried Gore. If it wasn't for Clinton, the only way Gore would have ever seen the inside of the White House would have been as a tourist.Although a democrat, I too am appalled at the democrats actions last November in Minnesota and even more appalled at their behavior now as we are in a war with Iraq. These action create confusion and division among Americans, exactly what Sadam Hussein wants.I agree with former President Clinton that we need to support current President Bush and not try to second guess him.Democrats: thanks to your unethical behaviors, I am turning Republican as I believe many more will also.

5.0 out of 5 stars Texas didn't vote for (want) Gore either, April 11, 2003
By
The allegations that George Bush only won small areas is totally false, but predictable by the Gore supporters. It's also true that not one southern state was won by Gore and that includes the great state of Texas, not to mention Gore's own state of Tennessee and Clinton's own Arkansas.Too bad big Al dropped out of election 2004. I seriously doubt if he would have beaten other democrat nominees let alone GWB II.Fool us once Al, shame on you. Fool us twice, shame on us.

5.0 out of 5 stars Gore was worst than Clinton!, March 9, 2003
By
Gerdy (Inverness, FL) - See all my reviews
As if it wasn't bad enough that we had a President lie under oath and take dignity away from the most cherished leadership title in the world, now we have his second in command try to steal what he couldn't legally win.Clinton and Gore are a disgrace to the democratic party and to this country.

5.0 out of 5 stars Who can believe Gore?, March 9, 2003
By
While I realize that this is now 2 1/2 year old history and current events are stealing thunder from Election 2000, nonetheless, I highly recommend "At any cost: How Al Gore Tried to Steal the Election." and found this treatise of that event to be a good read. This book shows just to what great lengths the Gore brigade went to try to steal the presidency. And take a look at the current state of the economy thanks to 8 years of "leadership" by the bobsey twins. Did we really need another 4 years of disgrace and incompetency? I think most Americans voted correctly and knew we needed a change. But seriously, who could believe Gore? This guy claimed to invent the internet (not so). And look what happened in Minnesota last fall; Gore smirking as the Democratic party turned a memorial service into a Democrat rally!I highly recommend this excellent book by Sammon. In addition, I also suggest reading Fighting Back, The Hunt For Bin Laden, Dereliction of Duty and Catastophe. That is if you want facts not democrat and media coverups.

5.0 out of 5 stars Right on the mark!, March 30, 2003
When At any Cost originally came out, it was met by massive resistance. The media magic hyping Gore and neglecting facts and the truth had worked, temporarily.Quite a different story now though. I gave away my hardback copy so recently bought a paperback version. This book is highly reommended for anyone who wants facts, not opinion.I also recommend Slander, Bias and Derelection of Duty.

5.0 out of 5 stars Win at any cost?, March 8, 2003
By
The actions of Al Gore and the democratic party at the last election and as proven by facts in "At any cost" sends out the them; cheat if you must--but win at any cost!Fortunately, despite the cheating, smear campeign and nonsense, the right man still won.Interesting is that not one southern state, even Gore's native Tennessee and Clinton's Arkansas voted for Gore.Bush won 30 of the 50 states and 271 electoral votes.Gore never had the lead in Florida--ever!And who can believe in a man like Gore who says that every vote must count buut goe on to disqualify military votes and then state; "A win is a win!"If you want more, read "At any cost" some of this will make your blood boil!
