This review is from: At the BBC (Audio CD)
What do we have? John Peel!!!! That's what we have in this cd, as Sham yells out loud in one of their tracks. Sham 69 was one of the most notorious acts of the 1977 generation. This is cockney English with punk attitude, street tales and in your face attitude, all blended together with pure rock and roll. Sham 69 could have made it bigger but wherever they went, fights broke out in the public until they had to call it a day, an absolute shame that such a brilliant band was brought to a dranmatic end by morrons. These BBC sessions combine the good quality of sound of studio, with the raw energy of their live performances. Just get it!
