Toddler Loves this Book
My toddler and I started "reading" this book together at age 1, and it's a consistent favorite for her. The length is good - not too long, and not too short. Illustrations are bright, simple, and very well-executed. My little one really enjoys the "one item on a contrasting colored background" format. I appreciate the simple Spanish translations. The board book is sturdy...

Good, but short
I like this book for the colorful pictures and the words that it teaches my kids. However, this is really a picture book rather than a proper book with a story, and only about 10 words are taught. Overall good for the collection, but prefer some of the other titles I have purchased ("Mi Casa") that has a lot more vocabulary. Your child will likely quickly outgrow this...

I like this book for the colorful pictures and the words that it teaches my kids. However, this is really a picture book rather than a proper book with a story, and only about 10 words are taught. Overall good for the collection, but prefer some of the other titles I have purchased ("Mi Casa") that has a lot more vocabulary. Your child will likely quickly outgrow this book and then have it sit on the shelf.

My toddler and I started "reading" this book together at age 1, and it's a consistent favorite for her. The length is good - not too long, and not too short. Illustrations are bright, simple, and very well-executed. My little one really enjoys the "one item on a contrasting colored background" format. I appreciate the simple Spanish translations. The board book is sturdy enough for every-day reading and takes well to a damp-cloth cleaning. We also read and enjoy _Vamos al Parque_, by the same author and illustrator.
