Book Description

The last thing Alexander St. Claire, Duke of Stourbridge, expected was Angelina Hawkins arriving on his doorstep ready to become his mistress! 1.0 out of 5 stars Preposterous, in an unamusing way February 24, 2011
Format:Kindle Edition
I'm used to the quality of stories in the "Undone!" line being, uh, uneven, but I think this may be the worst I've encountered yet. It's just silly, and sloppily written, and carelessly edited, all in a way that's tedious rather than amusing. _At the Duke's Service_ made me much less interested in reading the other books in the "Notorious St. Claires" series.

3.0 out of 5 stars Good but not enough! September 21, 2009
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I read this book after I read The Duke's Cinderella which is the second book in the series. It's the story of Hawks parents, but it was a very very short story, and I felt robbed. I hope the books that follow, which tells the story of Hawks two brothers and his younger sister Arabella are a little longer.

No pllot just a short dumb story -- not impressed at all. It is supposed to be a prelim to a series -- I don't think I will venture into that one. Mortimer usually does a great job with good story line, interesting background and often a mystery or too. this was not up to her standards. sorry.
