Book Description

January 21, 2011
In what’s become her favorite class, Jaycee Hanson sits behind Tyler Johnson, ROTC captain and star of most of her erotic fantasies. She doesn’t think he’d ever be interested in her, because in all the time she’s been watching him, she’s never seen him in the company of a white woman. She resigns herself to her thrice-weekly fantasy session during Psych 301.But when an accidental touch near the end of class turns into an impromptu foot rub, Jaycee is more than willing to follow Tyler wherever he might lead. She doesn’t expect the stairwell.Tyler isn’t sure what to make of the woman in his arms. She’s smart as well as beautiful. If he’d had any idea before today that she was interested in him, he would have made a move, but each time he looked her way in the past, she avoided his gaze.Objections to their relationship come from an unexpected source, causing Jaycee to second-guess herself. She and Tyler have more than sexual chemistry, but will it be enough?

This story is short, only around 900 locations, but it is very good, especially if you like interracial romances, which I do. It's short but well-developed for its length. And it has such a sexy and sweet hero.

Ty is African-American, tall, fit and handsome. He sits in front of Jaycee in class. They have been secretly eyeing each other. I loved this longing, this flirting in class, knowing you should be paying attention in class but you're too busy shooting shy glances at the hottie sitting next to you. Ah, those days.

Jaycee sits up and behind Ty, and one day her bare foot accidently brushes his shoulder. He leans back against it instead of moving away. Then Jaycee teasingly works her toe into his underarm where he traps her foot, refusing to let it go, and starts rubbing her foot. I know it shouldn't sound that erotic but it was. This leads to a very hot interlude in a stairwell, on campus, where anyone could catch them. This first time between them is eager, rushed and very sexy.

All the scenes were hot and erotic. Loved them all. I had just finished two books that had very little sex done right, certainly little sexual tension or chemistry; yet this little story had more than those two combined. This is what I like to see-- the build-up of tension, the pull of strong desire, the urgency of need and emotion.

Along with all this great sex, and the eroticism of black with white, there is also a very sweet romance as well. I really like Ty and Jaycee together. I want them to be together, no matter what any other character may say about it. This is something else I liked about the story, how the author gives a taste of the narrow-minded judgement an interracial relationship sometimes encounters.

This story is easy to read; it's sexy, sweet and playful. I really enjoyed it.

Good but pricey February 14, 2011

The story was very enjoyable, but way to short to be worth $7. I was able to read it in 30 minutes or so. But if the price goes down, it's a fun little tale.
