Beautiful album, April 28, 2007

I love this album. I bought it as a Beth Hart fan who wanted to hear the collaboration between Dutch artist Born and Beth Hart which is the song It Hurts. (This version of the album released in March 2007 has the bonus track It Hurts.) The song is amazing. Everything from the piano to the hammond organ to their voices together to the build in the song is perfect. Every song on this album is wonderful and soothing. Stand outs are 40 Days 40 Nights, Hallelujah, You and Me, Still Here, Sleep, and Learn to Fall. This is a mellow, melodic, emotional and compelling album with beautiful lyrics and convincing songwriting. I highly recommend it. (There is also a bonus video of It Hurts and a short clip of the making of the video.)
