It's starting to look a lot like Christmas and Allie Parker is heading home from her sucluded all-girls boarding school to spend the vacation with her parents and her two beautiful sisters. Allie has never delt with boys except as friends and so on the drive home on the New Jersey turnpike she runs into Ben and his little brother Tim at a rest stop. Ben is drop-dead gorgeous and is definately experienced in the flirting area as he offers to have pizza with her. She excepts - Hey, she's never gonna see this guy again right? Why not take a fling. She leaves thinking that, but later finds out that Ben and Tim are headed to Thornhill - the exact place Allie is headed!! It turns out that Ben is in the "in" crowed with her sisters group and is definately wanted when it comes to dating. Now she knows she's made a fool of herself the second she stepped off the grounds of her school. She decides to avoid him, but keeps running into him and his friends. She also can't resist his little brother Timmy who desperately needs to know he's loved and has friends. In helping Timmy out she gets to know Ben better and starts to wonder if he really is just a shallow flirt like lot's of the people in her sister's crowed. This book will make you laugh, wish, hurt, smile, and maybe even cry. If you read this book you'll fall right in love with Ben Harrington and I bet you'll wish you're name was Allie Parker and was friends with a little boy named Timmy.

I absolutely agree with all the other reviewers of this book. I have never read a better love story, including all the others in the Love Stories series. It's the type of book you can read over and over without getting tired of it, and feel completely content when you're done. Allie is a fantastic character, appealing yet still incredibly real. And Ben... If you haven't read it, get it now. Nuf said.

Before I read 'At First Sight',I know that it's gonna be worth reading because I had been reading Elizabeth Chandler's books before and I just love the stories.I was VERY right after I finished reading the book.I just adore the Allie character. I loved the fact that she could attracts guys by her own specialty.

This is one of the best books I have read Actually it is the best book I have ever read.It is about this girl Allie Parker who is going home for Christmas vacation she doesn't really want to go but she ends up going after all. When she goes to the rest stop on her way home she meets cute Ben Harrington and his little brother Tim.Later she finds out that they are going her way since by this time Tim has this huge crush on her he is really happy,but Ben isn't. Allie has two gorgeous twin sisters and soon finds out because of them and their superficial friends that Ben was a star jock when he went to school there. Well enough of this story if you want to know more you are just going to have to read the book The only thing I can tell you is that it's a wonderful book and it is really fun reading it. I know everyone who reads it will love it as much as I did maybe even more no I don't think anyone can like it more than I already do. Happy reading:))!!!!!!!!!

this book is great- one of the best Love Stories. it's so sweet, i just really liked the things he said to her, and the way that he treated her. she is so lucky to get a guy like that!

I really enjoyed reading this book.. but I thought it was a little predicatable at times. I would reccomend for a curl yourself up on the couch rainy day book! I love The Love Stories Series!

I loved this book and have read 6 times, reason, well it makes girl wonder about themselves not being able to fall in love. Allie, is thought to be not as pretty as her sisters and as shown by the guys in the novel is maybe prettier. I loved it and a wonderful story

This was an excellent book! I really enjoyed the characters. It shows you don't have to be "Miss Popular" to get the guys. I also love I Do by Elizabeth Chandler. Actually, all books by her are great! I just love the way she always has two love stories in one.

This book was excellent. It gave me goose bumps and took my breath away. I my self am a hopless romantic and I just was dazed by this book. i was so pleased with it,I bought 5 other "Love stories" books. I hope I like them! i will keep you posted! This booko was great andI recomend it.

I have never been big on romance but I read this booka nd another out of the love stories series and they were great! These love stories aren't all about perfect/popular girls which is what you would assume from a love story. This book is very true in character. The characters let me believe that maybe there is still hope for us not-so-perfect girls.
