Well, it's Asia, and it's live, but...,

...what inspired them to release this on CD? It's not a particularly good performance, particularly on "One Step Closer", in which the two vocalists sound off-key and drunk. Generally, the second singer (not Wetton) sounds bad. In addition, the total length of both CDs combined was only 63 minutes, which begs the question- why release this as a pricey 2 CD set? For Asia completists only, this one might be worth about $12 as a single CD set, so buyer beware.

Don't waste your money,
This review is from: At High Voltage 2010 (Audio CD)
NO ONE is a bigger Asia fan than I am. I am completely, hopelessly in love with John Wetton, and Carl Palmer is The God of Drums. But this recording is awful. As the first reviewer mentioned, there is no earthly reason why it spans 2 cds. The sound quality is terrible. Two of the cuts are not even songs.Don't waste your money on this. INSTEAD YOU SHOULD BUY Fantasia: Live in Tokyo; Live in Moscow 1990; or Spirit of the Night: Live in Cambridge. BETTER YET go see Asia live if they tour anywhere near you. If they don't, it's worth it to travel to see them. They are totally awesome, and I'm sorry that no one could know that from this cd.
