No one plays the bass guitar like Gerald Veasley!, May 6, 2009
This review is from: At the Jazz Base (Audio CD)
Gerald Veasley is one part jazz, one part blues, one part funk, one part soul. His studio stuff is great, but there's nothing like hearing him live... and this disc is a great example of his prowess on stage. My favorite song is "Forever"... if you can't imagine what the BLUES would sound like on a six-string bass guitar, get ready to have your mind blown. This is amazing stuff!

This the Jazzman!!!!, February 11, 2009

This album is a really big surprise. I listened thousand times and the more I listen, the more I enjoy it. Valdez in the Country is amazing as well as Celebrating Sipho, but the album by far is fantastic!!!

Gerald Veasley on top of his game, September 20, 2005

This live set is very well put together and is quite entertaining. I recommend it to all Gerald Veasley fans, even if you already have all of his studio albums.
