5.0 out of 5 stars Smooth Funky Jazz
I own all of Ronny's cds and you never know what you're going to get with him. He tries to appeal to the rap, acid jazz, and smooth jazz crowds on each of cds. Since for the most part I'm a smooth jazz fan, there's usually only 3 or 4 songs on each of his cds that I like. On "At Last", Ronny has directed his work more towards the smooth jazz crowd with a...

3.0 out of 5 stars Nice moments but.......
I prefered 'Off the record', which was more street. I like Norman Brown and Ronny Jordan, for different reasons. Ronny normally more street, where as this album, to me, seems to want to go over into Norman's territory. Fav cuts, Night and day, and Heaven.

Since for the most part I'm a smooth jazz fan, there's usually only 3 or 4 songs on each of his cds that I like. On "At Last", Ronny has directed his work more towards the smooth jazz crowd with a little funk on almost all of the songs. This is my favorite cd by him since "Light to Dark".

When it comes to Jazz, Funk, and a Guitar there is no one better. Once again Ronnie knocks it out of the park with "At Last".

4.0 out of 5 stars SMUHOOOOTH..., September 7, 2003

Ronny Jordan ranks a very close second to Peter White in my book, this album is a must have if you are into smooth jazzfunk. From the kick-off hip funk of "Nite and day" to the upbeat tempo of "In the limelight", this is stuffed with gorgeous smooth jazz. Highly recommended!

I had never purchased a Ronny Jordan CD. This was my first one and Im glad that I did. I heard that this CD was his most commercial success. If you're looking for some smooth guitar playing...this is it!

5.0 out of 5 stars SWEET, May 10, 2007
This review is from: At Last (Audio CD)
A nice touchdown into "smooth Jazz" territory from the great acid jazz guitarist.A very underestimated album by lovers of "brighter Days" and "off the Record" but worth seeking out for Island Paradise which is Jordan at his best and the bass and kick heavy version of u might need somebody. An all round nice album form Londons Finest.

Ronny's previous album, "Off the Record", was very good and this one, his latest, is even better. I especially liked
tracks 3,6, and 10. Ronny is the king of jazz-funk.

This CD is the perfect combination smooth jazz and funk. If that is what you're looking for, then Ronny Jordan delivers. His rendition of "Nite And Day" is sheer perfection, but every track is wonderful. Please buy it!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Ronny is the MAN!, March 1, 2006

Excellent CD! The title track, At Last, was what piqued my interest in getting to listen to more of this cd. But it was the other tracks that made the cd stand out. It doesn't disappoint. If you like smooth jazz, Ronny Jordan will be sure to fit your bill. One listen to Rendevous was all it took ... smooth as silk!

Ronny laid down some slick tracks. He has his own sound and the CD demonstrates it. Check out the listening feature and if you like what you hear, then you will love the CD.
