I've heard this version all my life. When the Prez and Mrs. Prez picked Beyonce to sing this song at the Inauguration I was floored!! What happened to Etta James?? Many times the original is the best. This is one of them.

Great song it's a lot older than I am I heard it in a few movies and on some tv commercials I'm glad I got this one

There is no question about the legacy that Etta James has left behind. She had a very beautiful voice from beginning to end, yet she will always be recognized for one hit At Last. The song is very elegant, and still shines from the simplicity of her elegant voice she left behind. Hearing the news that she had died after a long battle with terminal cancer is just very deviating, beyond what words can say. While she did have fame, and unfortunately the excess battling physical and emotional abuse and vices, her sonnets have and still had the spirit as her voice had shown for years.
