Lynda Carter's newest album is nothing short of spectacular ! The songs are a delightful mix of jazz & blues and truly highlight her remarkable singing talents. The music has an up-close and personal sound to it and makes you feel like she is right there with you. Lynda is an amazing storyteller and that quality shines in every track. It has been 31 years since her last album and this new one was definitely worth the wait.
Thank you Lynda !

After waiting with anticipation, it was a delightful and well thought out CD that Lynda Carter has produced. After seeing her in concert in Washington DC, it was great to finally place a CD into my collection. I await her next CD, hopefully it won't be too long. A thirty year wait from her album "Portrait" to her CD is WAY too long.
I hope everyone enjoys her music as much as I do. A classic, jazzy-blues ensemble.

I have to say I was not predisposed to liking this recording. Who wants to hear Wonder Woman? But I heard it as a friend's house and I really enjoyed it - very classy singing and arrangements. She doesn't oversing or try to pump up the volume - she trusts the songs and I like that. In this age of American Idol there is just a lot of oversinging going on.

I have been following Lynda Carter's career since I was a child watching her amazing goddess like Beauty take off as "Wonder Woman" in the 1970's. Lynda soon became every little girls hero and appeared in countless Tv movies. I have always loved Lynda's 1978 album "Portrait" and all her singing from her Tv specials in the early 80's. Lynda sounds alot like Karen Carpenter to me. I agree with the other comments on here, this was well worth the wait! Lynda has went back to her first love of singing and performing live. Her voice is still just as lovely and rich with emotion. The new songs for "At Last" are alot more jazzy than Portrait's country Pop flavor but the more I listen to it the more I enjoy it. Lynda sings fun old standards that are melodic and bluesy . Highlights for me were Cry Me A River, Blues In The Night, and Secret of Life by James Tayler. I'm hopeful there will also be a concert DVD of Lynda for those of us not lucky enough to see her perform live. I would also love to see another cd! If you see this: God Bless you always Lynda , you are still a Beautiful lady and Hero to me XX00!!

I have followed Lynda Carter since she first appeared on the scene as Wonder Woman! And, the first time I heard her sing, I was blown away! With this album -- after years on hiatus -- Lynda sounds just as good as ever! So, if you want to hear a sweet and melodic voice, I strongly urge you to purchase this album. You won't be disappointed!!!

A Stellar Recording,

Lynda Carter "At Last" is a truly stellar album and an impressive undertaking for the singer/actess. Lynda is a wonderful vocalist and her voice has never sounded better. She gives us a great collection of Oldies and Jazz greats. Lynda puts her own stamp on the songs - and makes each one her very own. "At Last" has the sexy and sultry resonance of Marilyn Monroe, the soulful hum of Billie Holiday, and the warmth and pizzazz that is unique to Lynda Carter. Lynda has worked with many "greats" in the past such as Ray Charles and hopefully "At Last" will inspire some interesting collaborations for future projects. As I listen to this album, I just keep thinking that Lynda and Harry Connick Jr. could produce something special. Lynda Carter invites you in with "At Last", makes you comfortable, and leaves you feeling good. It is quite the gem and a great mp3 download - so give this one a try.

Here is a first for me. When I first listened to this cd, I didn't like it. I was biased to the memory of Lynda Carter doing pop in her excellent television specials of the eighties. However, I listened to it a 2nd and 3rd time and I started to like it. Lynda has a beautiful voice. Once I trained my mind to blues and jazz, I love the cd. Lynda creates her own unique style to classics such as The Supremes, "Where Did Our Love Go," and Julie London's "Cry Me A River." Also, "Cloud Burst" is a great song for Lynda's vocals. This is a nice cd to have with a lover over wine. Originally, I created a bad review but deleted it because I was wrong and wanted Lynda to do pop. I still want Lynda to create a pop album but there isn't any white woman singer, who can sing the blues better than Lynda Carter. For you jazz and blues lovers, a must for your collection. Your a wonder, Wonder Woman.

'At Last' is an appropriate title for her new CD, because after 30 some odd years after the release of her last album 'Portrait', she has unleashed something very special. While she covers classic songs on this CD, she makes them very much her own and the results are delicious. And her voice has never sounded better. This CD was clearly a labor of love for Lynda and it shows in every note.
Bravo!

Long-anticipated by Carter's many fans, 'At Last' delivers the best of Lynda Carter's sold-out 'An Intimate Evening with...' performances, and thanks to a lack of studio tricks, comes across as a live session, personally sung for you.
I wish she'd included her extraordinary rendition of Paul Simon's '50-ways to Leave Your Lover,' but then again, I am certain she had a difficult time choosing which classics would make the final cut. Side note: I've met many entertainers in my 43-years, but none as gracious and authentic as Lynda Carter.

Wonder Woman Sings the Blues!,

Cool. Smooth. Rich and velvety. Ms. Carter's voice is perfect for these selections. Her sexy stylings put one in mind of Billie Holliday.. or Diana Ross doing Billie Holiday. Either way it's GREAT! Yes, Wonder Woman can not only sing...but she sings extremely well!
