This is seriously Jesus folk more than rock. The singer's voice is inflicted with a vibrating sound that harkens back to Ireland circa 1800 or something. While this band does play some decent music with a variety of instruments (the drummer is phenominal actually), the voice of the singer and the sheer folkiness and all the talk of God is a turn off. I saw them live and wanted to like them, I did. I just couldn't.
