This book is a great reference for thesis and dissertation writers in the area of population risk!

I thought that the book provided some good information, especially the latter half of the book which offered possible solutions and to improve the health situation of the populations that she identified as vulnerable. I wish the earlier chapters, which identify the vulnerable populations and the circumstances that increase their risk, were slightly more in depth. Overall, there is some strong data and Aday presents a pretty good look into the problem of the disproprtioante health risks that many people in America face.

Very interesting book to read and not only for student but for others as well. It gives a better understanding of who and why are those populations are vulnerable and how everyone of us can help.

I always get my college books from Amazon because they are always cheaper than my college bookstore. In order to save a little money the last time I bought a book before this I bought the book from another seller that was advertised on Amazon's page, but they were a private seller. I had done this before, it was even cheaper, so I decided to try it again. The rating on the book said it was in good condition, and I guess it was, but the person who had sold it to me had marked in it w/ highlighter. I was disappointed. I learned my lesson. Always make sure books you buy are from Amazon unless you don't mind having your books marked up. It's a gamble if you buy a used book from someone listed on Amazon's site.

Though the book may have some information that is useful. It also has infomation that is 8 years old and in our world and work that can be archaic . I am potioning my University to remove the book.

I am very please with the purchase of this book, it was in excellent conditions, lile a new book, even thought it was listed as an used book.

There is a lot of information for the vulnerable groups in the U.S. At Risk in America: The Health and Health Care Needs of Vulnerable Populations in the United States aspects of all the groups are discussed giving you an insight of what needs the vulnerable population is up against. I would definitely order from Amazon again, fast shipping and the book is what Amazon stated it was.
