Terri Drake is not only a splendid poet--she is also a wonderful psychotherapist and social worker. My family met her when she helped us adopt a baby from Korea. She showed the same sensitivity and intelligence during that long and worthwhile process as she shows in these brave and nuanced poems. If you want to know more about the soul's journey, buy this book.
