Product Description

The B-17 bomber was the primary bomber used for long-range daylight bombing in World War II. B-17 Flying Fortress lets you take control of any of the 10 individual positions of the plane, and puts you in command of an entire squadron of 12 bombers. B-17delivers a full WWII flight-sim experience. As the bombardier, zoom inon targets 20,000 feet below to accurately destroy them. Swat down interceptors as a tail gunner. You can even escort the lumbering B-17sin a fighter plane, or join the Luftwaffe and try to keep the bombers from delivering their payloads.
X-Plane 8 is the comprehensive flight sim available today. It offers incredible accuracy in flight models, wider scope in aircraft and a more versatile set of aircraft types and weather conditions. Users can download new aircraft, scenery and more -- for a flight simulation that's amazingly close to the real thing. Land at any of 18,000 airports across the world, with realistic scenery from all of them - you can even land on Mars, thanks to the Mars Orbiting Laser Altimeter.
Jump through your television directly into the cockpit of the Navy/Marine workhorse fighting machine-the F/A-18 Hornet. Now you can fly the most prolific carrier-based aircraft in the Coalition arsenal. Load up with precision guided munitions and bring the forces of freedom to bear on the Iraqi regime of terror. Fly above thousands of square miles of stunning satellite image-based terrain. Look through your canopy and see the same environment that Coalition fighter pilots navigated during Operation Iraqi Freedom.
