Definitely a must have for any cake decorator! It's easy to work with, it sticks to the table so it is very reliable when you are moving a fondant sheet etc, you don't need to use powdered sugar or cornstarch with it, so the piece of fondant stays nice and soft, doesn't harden up that quick as when you are using the powdered sugar, it's very easy to clean and you can cut it in whatever shapes you want. As a bonus, it contains all the mess you make when decorate cakes in one place and you just wipe it up in 5 minutes afterwards :-)

I can't believe I've waited so long to buy one, but I am even thinking of buying a second one now!

This mat is a blessing. I have been rolling out fondant for a couple years now on my table. It would always stick bad and all the cornstarch I had to use dried the fondant up. I just recieved my mat today, which was a lot bigger than what I thought. I used to it roll out fondant to cover a cake and I did not have to use any cornstarch at all. I also used it to roll out gumpaste for sugar flowers and nothing stuck then as well.I was able to roll the gumpaste very thin, which made my flowers look more realistic. The best part though was the clean up. All I had to do was pick up the mat and slide all of the mess into the trash and wipe the mat off. It was 100 x easier then what I have been doing. Also the mat stuck well to the table so nothing moved around. There are no creases on the mat that would show up in anything you roll out on it. I highly recommend anyone who is into cake decorating or pastries to get this mat rather then doing things the hard way. I only wish I had ordered one of these a long time ago, it would have saved me so much frustration! I plan to order my mom as well.

I bought this product to help contain some of the mess when I am decorating cakes. The mat works wonderfully by providing a smooth work surface. The fondant slides right off with a tiny bit of corn starch and it is super easy to clean.

Have made hundreds of pierogi on this mat. It is large enough to keep utensils and filling and still be able to roll out the dough, cut and fill the pierogi.

It doesn't "walk" while rolling. And the dough releases easily without a lot of extra flour required on a formica surface.

I wish I could justify purchasing another mat that I could cut in half for smaller projects.

This mat works great but while I was cleaning up I folded the mat in half twice thinking nothing of it because it's silicone so I figured it'd flexible. It cracked in half. Just split right down the middle. I had to cut the ends and now have 2 mats:( so never fold these. Only roll them up

I'm glad I bought this mat. I like to decorate cake and painting cake...playing with fondant and gumpaste. My dining table (we live in a very small apartment) has many stain. I tried so hard to clean, but not easy. This mat help me to work easily, I can paint..roll my fondant and many things without give stain to my table surface.....

the silicone mat 24x36 had a very poor finish on the surface,which is supposed to be smoothed for rolling fondant on. it was pitted and bumpy i was offered a refund or exchange but the cost to send back was to much. i live in the UK so i would advise to people to think before they by from the USA because the cost to send things back to the USA are outrages

I bought this for my wife eight months ago for her birthday. She began making fondant cakes more frequently and complained about it sticking to the counter. The powdered sugar made a mess and what ever else she had to prevent sticking. I found this on Amazon, read the reviews and bought it. She loved it, beyond loved it! It may seem huge, until you start using it and there is pleny of room. However, I can assure you it WILL NOT resist the cutting from an Xacto knife. Hers will have to be replaced. She found that out the hard way one day. Overall, this is perfect for fondant and cleans with no problem. Let it air dry over night and put it away till next time.

Both tables that I have whether it's the kitchen table or the dining table don't have a smooth surface so I bought this oversized mat to make all kinds of pastry, cookies, fondant creations on it. It's big enough to roll a big piece of fondant. It's extremely easy to clean and stores easily.

I LOVE THIS MAT!!!! I have made pizza crust, bread, and crackers with no problems. The first time I used this mat, I floured it just in case but I quickly realized I didn't need to. Only one dough stuck a little bit to this mat but to be fair the dough was very sticky to begin with. I think it's because I didn't have enough flour in the recipe. To clean it just wipe it down with a warm wet cloth. I'm going to order the smaller one as well since my kitchen is much smaller now. Great product & I'm very happy with it. I can see myself using this forever :)
