I was told by a baking instructor that meringue powder made a huge difference over the other brands. I have to agree the difference was well worth the trouble of tracking it down. It is the best!

I have purchased a craft store brand in the past and just was not getting the results I wanted. I looked on Amazon, as I couldn't find this brand anywhere else. I LOVE it and my cookies taste and look much better. It was great and I would definitely recommend it.

This was the first time I have used this product. I could never find it around my area so I tried Amazon. Everyone raved about my Christmas cookies!

I think the price on this is outrageous. I get meringue powder locally: 1# 9oz for $4. This is highway robbery. I just wanted to let everyone know that you should look around and compare as you may be able to find a more reasonable price near you. Check bulk food stores first.

This is the best meringue powder product I have tried! I don't think I can ever go back to any other product. It has the best taste, and makes the best icing consistency. I'm constantly getting comments on how good my cookies taste and I know a lot of it is because I use Ateco meringue powder in my royal icing. I only wish it was sold in more stores, because where I live I can only purchase it via internet, and that stinks sometimes when I need it right now. I try to remember to keep enough in stock, however, surprises sneak up on me sometimes when I worry I might not have enough! Sure don't know why in the world Michael's and Hobby Lobby wouldn't carry it!!

I have tried just about every method possible for making royal icing and on a tip from a food blog I read I ordered this stuff. I can now make royal icing in a flash and it's fantastic and the results are always consistent. But even better than the royal icing this makes is the buttercream icing for cakes and cupcakes. Holy cow it is smooth and silky and decadent and you can flavor it any which way you want. It's an absolute dream to work with! I've never had a problem with it working, neither humidity nor heat will affect how it comes together. Though if it's exceptionally hot your buttercream will melt, but anything at high temperatures will do that. Love this stuff!

The very best meringue powder.Could not believe this!It's like a miracle happening right before my eyes. Never knew this existed until 8 weeks ago. Where have I been?

I ordered Ateco 475 Meringue Powder, 10 oz (as pictured above) and received Americolor Meringue Powder,
10 oz.

I specifically ordered Ateco Meringue Powder from this site. When the package arrived, it was Americolor brand. I did not want Americolor and don't appreciate a product brand being substituted without my approval. Was very displeased and will contact seller... however, am left in a bind now.
