The first tool I used broke the first time I used it, I was making simple shell imprints and didn't use any force :( Not very sturdy I'm afraid. Waste of money.

These tools are really nice, I used mine to shape flowers, leaves and even crimped the bottom of a gum paste tube of "face cream". Poked holes in the gum paste to make a tiara. It lost a star for nearly breaking but I must admit I was pressing a little hard in my eagerness to scoop my flowers. All in all easy to use.
