This review is from: Atheism: A Beginner's Handbook: All you wanted to know about atheism and why (Paperback)
This is a really good how to on living the Atheist worldview. The thinking exercises where helpful. one of the things I liked was that it was not a long read. I think religionist should read it to better understand Atheism. A short history of Atheism would have been nice.

This book had a lot of good information in it about Atheism the reason I gave it four stars was because of the equations. I prefer books that use reason rather then scientific equations and diagrams but if that is your thing this book has some of that too. If you really want scientific reading I would suggest,"The God Delusion" by Richard Dawkins. If you like books based on reason then I would suggest "Natural Atheism" by David Eller. If you are a Christian and are questioning your faith I would suggest,"Like Rolling Uphill" by Dianna Narciso or "Losing Faith in Faith" by Dan Barker.

Different styles of writing appeal to different people. For example, I really liked "Atheism Explained: From Folly to Philosophy." I enjoyed "Atheist Universe: The Thinking Person's Answer to Christian Fundamentalism." And I kind of liked, "The Path or Reason: A Philosophy of Nonbelief." But "Atheism: A Beginner's Handbook:" it was interesting but I did not like the style so much.
