Excellent sound quality using on a large deck via a media center with a 900 Watt Yamaha amp on low setting with a connected volume control which I highly recommend use the Hi-Fi Works volume control for best performance available through Amazon. Quality of sound is excellent playing mp3s and recorded discs and no "chatter" from these speakers so far. I would recommend these and compare them to name brand speakers on the market with higher prices.

Athena AS-06 2-Way Outdoor Speakers with Brackets, Matte Black (Pair) My wife & I cannot beleive the incredible sound from these speakers. We would recommend these to anyone. Athena is a company to be recognized as selling only top notch products. They are also very easy to install and with the notched brackets, I will be able to remove them with ease in the winter as I am using them on an enclosed screened in patio 22 feet by 30 feet, but in winter I will take them inside my home & use them somewhere. only had 1 month, so far very good. Great sound reproduction. We will
have to wait a while to give a review on build quality as these speakers
are replacing a pair of BOSE 101's that lasted me 17 years of outdoor use.
