Cutest most orange-est shoes ever!, August 28, 2011
I have been searching and searching for a cute pair of orange shoes for, like, forever! I finally found them in this adorable sandle from Athena Alexander. They are exactly the bright shade I was looking for -- I mean, if you go orange, why not really GO ORANGE! -- and the cork platform sole/heel makes the shoe a perfect height for me. It was also "on sale" so I got it for $35 which is fabulous! I've paid twice that for this brand at Nordstrom so I was super excited. My only negative comment and the reason why this shoe gets 4 instead of 5 stars is that their shoes run a tad bit large. I never ever run a 1/2 size above or below my shoe size, but in Athena's I am apparently a 1/2 size smaller. So, these are a little too large for me but still super cute. For this price, I'll make it work!
