Specifically designed for use with the S.5 speakers, the stands are extremely simple to assemble. A speaker is attached to each stand via two self-tapping screws for added stability and safety. Painted in a durable black textured powder coat, the stand allows your speaker cables to be hidden from view, and also features a weighted base for added stability. I have these speaker stands at home, and they've worked great for the past few years. Klutz that I am, I tripped over one of them the other day, breaking it at the top. I'd like to buy replacements, but Amazon doesn't seem to be carrying them at the moment, and I can't seem to find a place to buy them online. Any thoughts on where I might be able to buy them (new or used is okay)?

It's not apparent when you read the product description that there are actually TWO stands in this. I deduced this finally because it said "stands" in the title of the product. Sounds stupid but I'm pretty wary buying online.
The product arrived really fast. I ordered this on a Sunday and it was here at my house on Tuesday. Assembly was very easy and the instructions were clear. There's nothing fancy here -- they are simply speaker stands for the S-5 speaker from Athena. I don't understand why they are ~ 90 dollars though. The previous reviewer expected more and yes you really do have to pick the whole stand up to angle the speakers. Shipping was ~ 20 dollars but they were rather heavy. I'm redoing my A/V furniture and I think I'll eventually be glad I bought these.

Nice stands, limited movement,

These are basic speaker stands. For as nice as the wall mounts are that came with the system I expected a little more as far as being able to position the speakers on the stand. Once they're mounted you have to move the entire stand to angle the speakers.
There was missing hardware in the package I got. I bought them off eBay (listed as new, unused) so I'm not sure if that's why some was missing or like the previous reviewer it was missing from the factory.
