This is the complete guide to understanding the recruiting process and how to enhance your exposure to the coaches that control the issuance of college athletic scholarships. By using this book there is no need to hire an expensive recruiting company. The book lists the pertinent information needed to correspond with the college coaches and also gives the website address (URL) of the colleges so that you can link into the actual college websites to find out the latest information about each of them. It gives a step by step process designed to lead you through the process of getting your individual accomplishments and statistical packet ready to ship off to the college coaches of your choice. Included in the book are actual sample resumes, letters of introduction, follow-up letters, letters to and from college coaches, letters of recommendation from your high school coaches, etc. These examples are the actual ones used by the author's two sons during the time they were being recruited.

3.0 out of 5 stars reader from Jersey, October 2, 2000

This review is from: Athletic Recruiting and College Scholarship Guide (Paperback)
Although his book taught the reader a great deal about the recruiting process, I found it too elementary to read, but I don't think that this is a horrible book. However, I would recommend it to any high schoolers in need of some assistance in getting into a good college and possibly recieving a scholarship. I would also recommend Athletic Scholarships: A Complete Guide.
