Are you familiar with those really cheap Little Debbie brownies that are sold in supermarkets and convenience stores? You know, the ultra sweet, explode in your mouth and eat the enamel off your teeth sweet. That's what these are like. In other words, they're great if you want something to really satisfy your sweet tooth. I love them. I just got mine this week and already had Amazon send me another shipment.

Though some of the prior reviews are very recent, they aren't up to date with the new formula for these Atkins bars, and the "nutrition facts" panel supplied with the description is incorrect. Calories are now 170, dietary fiber 10g, etc. The biggest change is the addition of 7g of "sugar alcohols", 6g of which is glycerin. I'm one of those who cannot process sugar alcohols without intense cramping and bloating. I ate one bar, suffered about 18 hrs, and then threw the rest out the next day. If you don't have problems with sugar alcohols, lucky you, but everyone else, beware. Great taste, but then you pay the price!

These are my favorite atkins bar so far, the carbs are lower than some of your other atkin bar options and they are delicious. Perfect chocolate and caramel combination without the guilt.

Feels and tastes much like a soft brownie. These provide a very good sweet snack as part of a low carb meal. I've been ordering these on subscribe and save for a number of months now.

If you want something to soothe your chocolate cravings but not feel bad, these are the thing for you. I eat this or the Double Chocolate Crunch bars every day for lunch and I feel like I"m being really decadent.

These taste just like a fudge brownie! And they are surprisingly filling. I am not hungry afterwards and they hold me for several hours. They are great warmed up but you have to take out of the wrapper since the microwave doesn't like them.

These are seriously good.

The reason I frequently purchase the caramel fudge brownie bar is because they are one of a few, almond-containing advantage bars that do not contain sugar alcohols. As a customer of Atkins for the past seven years, I have noticed that since the death of Dr. Atkins, the company has been repeatedly adding more sugar alcohols in their bars, which give stomach upset. This bar is one of the last of the atkins legacy to provide customers with a non-peanut, sugar-alcohol free, protein bar. I fear it may also go extinct like coconut advantage bars (also not have sugar alcohols).

If you like the majority of Atkins Bars you'll love these. They are so much like a real brownie that my 15 year old son and his friends keep eating them on me.

I like this item. I really like the taste of the brownie. It almost tastes like I'm not eating a diet bar.

I was looking for an occasional meal replacement bar to have on days when busy or running late. After reviewing many products I decided on the Atkins Advantage Bars and in particular the Caramel Fudge Brownie Bar. Although not horrible, it was not quite what I was expecting in taste and texture. I found the brownie not to be rich in flavour and moist in texture. But I do know that this is just a matter a personal taste, I have tasted worst.

I'm disappointed... Most Atkins bars are pretty good. I've tried 4 or 5 flavors now. This one, I have to say, is by far my least favorite. The sweetness is too intense. Total overkill. It is also a very fake sweet that you can detect right away, so it isn't really satisfying either. Then the brownie is thick and pasty. Not a good mouth feel. Overall, it is more like one of those disgusting chewy protein bars than a indulgent snack bar. Too sweet, chalky, chewy in an unplesant way, and fake sugar taste.

If you are considering this, I recommend buyers try another flavor. Something nuttier with less sweetness and chocolate will actually better satisfy your chocolate/sweet tooth. If you like nuts, try the hazelnut one. That one is delicious.

I gave this two stars instead of one...because it is still edible. It came in a three box, so I will finish them--one box down, two more to go...gulp >_< However, I'm going to "unsubscribe" from this Fudge Brownie Bar now and never repurchase again. Yuck!
