After reading the reviews and despite all the comments regarding the difficulty putting it together, I decided to buy it anyway. I hope to answer a lot of people's questions.

Table dimensions w/out attachments: 40.25" X 23.5"
Table dimensions w/attachments: 49.25" X 24"
Obviously this is measuring the table with the speaker trays.
The extra .5" front to back is due to the monitor panel being attached.
Floor to Table Height: 29 3/8"

AdrienneS: I think they listened to your suggestions, almost all of the holes were pre-drilled in my desk. All except for the media holder, no pre-drilled holes for it. I opted not to put that on anyway so it wasn't a big deal to me.

After reading how disappointing the drawer was, I opted not to put it on either.

Scratches: Mine had 1 scratch and 1 ding on the top edge of the table. Having read the reviews, I paid attention to the packaging as I opened the box. With mine, there was a piece of cardboard separating the metal legs from the table top. Theory is intact, execution was a failure. The piece of cardboard did not cover the entire length of the table top and about 2 feet of it was exposed. I am assuming as I unpacked the desk and slid the pieces out the scratch happened at that time, but who knows for sure. I also think due to the way in which it was packed, one of the feet on the legs would have caused the ding in the top edge of the table, probably during shipping.

Before I even ordered this desk I had been contemplating what I would do if it did have a big scratch in it. I decided I would just go down to Home Depot, buy a piece of Plexiglas, drill 4 holes in it and screw it down to the top of the desk.

I love this desk. I am not a handy-man at all but was able to figure out how to set it up and now its beautiful. Makes you look legit, the ladies love it, and most of all the cup holder can hold not just drinks but ash trays, kittens, or even small babies.

I would recommend this desk. I bought it for a home desk and I play games.

The desk looks nice and isn't expensive. Install wasn't hard. One of the screws was too short for the hole but I was able to solve it without issue. It was not hard to put together, but at some point it did take a little bit of arm strength. The only downsides to this product are that the desk space is not enough to have a keyboard comfortably far away from you without running into the monitor stand and that the monitor stand positions a monitor uncomfortably close to your face (I have a 23 inch LCD). I initially did not install the speaker and controller stands to maximize space. I ended up wall mounting my LCD and removing the monitor stand to free up desk space. I am now satisfied that I have enough room to maneuver. The drawer is flimsy and bounces around so I removed it as well. I would make sure that you are happy with the dimensions before you purchase. Good product overall.

Do not buy this desk, or anything from this company.

I was looking forward to this desk because I've just moved 3,000 miles and have gone a month without a desk. So I open the package and get going assembling it. The instructions are really simple, but then I reach a point where it's asking for some screws, part number W.. But they're absent from the package. Ok, ok, no big.. I can buy some at the hardware store tomorrow and it's not an essential part to just get it up an operational....

So I keep going, then I reach a point where it says to attach the media holder to the table.... But there are no screw holes to attach it. I skip ahead in the instructions and see that all of the screw holes are missing from the bottom aside from the ones at the very beginning to attach the legs, drawer, and power strip.

Basically, it seems like I got an unfinished desk. So I have to go ahead and finish the job for them with my drill while hopefully not damaging the desk, in addition I have to go and pick up the missing screws.

It would be more of a pain to ship it back for a refund or an exchange.... Maybe I'll just call it a wash and toss it in the trash.

In short, I wouldn't trust a product from this company.

***UPDATE 6/12/2013***

Now that my fury has calmed and I went to the hardware store to get my own nuts & screws, I can say that I like this desk.

Obviously, the process of assembling it was infuriating due to missing pieces I had to get myself. Also, the lack of drill holes meant I had to sort of eyeball stuff and screw it in where I thought it was supposed to go based on the pictures.

I was in the market for a new gaming desk, as my old one was really not designed with the gamer in mind. The key things that I wanted were to have the power strip off the floor, a USB charging station, a way to keep the cables contained, and enough space for a gaming keyboard, a gaming keypad, and my mouse/mousepad. This desk had it all -- plus a modular cupholder, speaker frames, and a spot to hang your headphones! It's sturdy, spacious, easy to put together, looks nice, and is functional.

The only things I have to complain about is that the monitor stand is just a little too high. Even with my chair set at maximum height, it's ergonomically too high, so with my normal posture, I am looking straight ahead, instead of slightly down to see the center of the screen. If I could drop it 2", it would be perfect; I just need to take more breaks this way, which I need to learn to do, anyway, so not a big deal.

Second, and this was my fault, is that I put the headphone stand on the wrong side for my use (the cable is on the left ear, and I put the stand on the right, which is the default). I didn't realize how annoying it would be to have a cable across my body, so I had to move it to the other side. Again, not that big a deal, but something you may want to think about when you're putting yours together.

Finally, the drawer doesn't seem very useful, though I guess it can hide some papers or cords or something. It's the one component that I'm not sure the usefulness of. Fortunately, it is small enough that my chair fits around it, so it isn't in the way, just another feature that you can use if you so choose.

Overall, a great desk, and I really like it so far.
